A restaurant fitted out end to end

A complete interior fit-out for Kashmiri Karahi in Slough, covering the dining room and the servery. Restaurant work runs to a different clock than domestic: the room has to be finished to a public standard, meet the requirements that come with a trading space, and be handed back on a date the operator has already taken bookings against.

The dining room is built around fixed banquette seating in buttoned and fluted leather, with stone-topped tables on brass bases. Walls are finished in polished plaster and cut with curved arch recesses picked out in concealed LED, lit further by brass wall lights and pendants.

The servery runs a mirrored diamond splashback the length of a fitted counter, with open shelving beneath for service. A backlit feature panel anchors the far end of the dining room.
