Structure first, finish last
Carpentry runs through a build from the first week to the last. We frame stud walls, set floor joists and form roof structures, then come back at the end to hang doors, fit skirting and scribe the finish work in.
Because the same team handles both ends, first fix is done with second fix in mind. Linings go in plumb so doors close properly. Studs land where fittings will need fixings. Small decisions early prevent remedial work later.

Measured, square, scribed
Good carpentry is mostly checking. We measure from datums, not from whichever surface is nearest. Studs are checked for plumb and openings for square before anything is boarded in, because a millimetre hidden in the frame becomes a visible gap at the architrave.
Older buildings are rarely straight. Where walls wander, we scribe the joinery to follow them, so skirting, shelving and fitted storage sit tight to the wall instead of relying on filler.
That checking is what makes the finished work look right.

Stud partitions, floor joists, roof timbers, window boards and door linings. The frame everything else depends on, fixed straight and to the drawing.
Second fix
Doors hung and eased, skirting and architrave mitred and scribed, ironmongery fitted so it works properly and keeps working.
Doors, frames & architraves
New doors in new frames, or new doors in old openings that are anything but square. We make the second look as good as the first.
Fitted storage & loft conversion carpentry
Alcove units, wardrobes and under-eaves storage, plus the carpentry package for loft conversions: floor structure, stud walls and the finish that follows.
