Roofing
New roofs, re-roofs and repairs in slate, tile and flat systems, across Yorkshire, Manchester, the Midlands and England-wide.
From full re-roofs to a single slipped slate
We build new roofs, replace old ones and repair everything in between. Pitched work in slate and tile, flat roof systems, and all the detail that keeps a roof watertight: leadwork, flashings, valleys, gutters and fascias.
Bring us storm damage, a leak or a worn covering and we will tell you exactly what it needs. If a repair will do the job, that is what we will recommend.
- New roofs and full re-roofs
- Slate and tile pitched roofing
- Flat roof systems
- Leadwork and flashings
- Storm damage and leak repairs
- Gutters, fascias and soffits
How a roofing job runs
Roofing starts with safe access. Scaffold is arranged and inspected before anyone goes up, and the roof is stripped in sections so the building below is not left exposed.
British weather is part of the programme, not an excuse. We plan around realistic weather windows, sheet the roof down whenever work pauses, and tell you straight away if the schedule has to move.
Old coverings, battens and waste go into the skip, not your garden. The site is cleaned down at the end of every working day and the gutters are left clear when we leave.
- Scaffold and edge protection arranged before work starts
- Roof stripped in sections, never left open overnight
- Sheeting down whenever weather stops play
- Daily clean-down, waste away in the skip
The standard on every roof
Materials matched to the building
Slate on a slate roof, clay where clay belongs. We match coverings to the age and style of the building and to what planning requires, not to what is on the van.
Faults traced to the source
Leaks rarely start where the stain shows. We trace the fault back to its source before we quote, so you pay to fix the cause, not the symptom.
Working at height done properly
Proper scaffold and edge protection, not ladders and luck. Access is planned and priced as part of the job, never bolted on as an afterthought.
Tidy handover
Waste cleared, gutters clear, and the finished work explained to you before we sign the job off together.
Questions we are asked
Do you repair roofs or only replace them?
Both. We look at the roof first and tell you which it needs. A slipped slate does not need a new roof, and we will say so.
What types of roof do you work on?
Slate, tile and flat roofing systems, along with the leadwork, flashings, gutters and fascias that go with them. That covers most homes, rental properties and commercial buildings in England.
How do you keep the building dry during a re-roof?
The roof is stripped in sections and never left open overnight. When weather stops work, the exposed area is sheeted down before anyone leaves site.
What areas do you cover for roofing work?
Our heartland is Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Derby and the Midlands, and we take on work across England. Tell us where the property is and we will give you a straight answer on whether we can cover it.
Get a straight answer on your roof
Tell us what the roof is doing and roughly how old it is. We will tell you whether it needs repair or replacement. If water is coming in now, say so in your message and we will treat it as urgent.
Thank you
Your enquiry is with us. We read every message ourselves and will reply with the next step.
